Carlsberg revolutionized how to carry 6 cans of beer when they introduced The Snap Pack—a more sustainable sixpack that reduces the use of plastic by 76%. Through market research we discovered that most Danes want to implement a more sustainable lifestyle, but they find it hard to act.

We called the strategy “green convenience” and executed it through a 360° campaign including events with beer- and environment-appreciating influencers who were sent out to collect waste in nature.

Results

The campaign lifted the Carlsberg Pilsner can’s sales value by 12.5 % compared to the previous year. More importantly, sales of the Snap Pack cans helped to reduce plastic in the environment. The campaign also won the Kom19 award, the Rambuk Grand Prix 2019 and the Rambuk Effektpris 2019.
